Trafic Cruise Control Failure

My 2003 Renault Trafic with a gasoline engine has a cruise control that stopped working. Now there's a constant error message on the speedometer, and an error is stored in the memory. Is this something I should worry about? I'm pretty frustrated!

It sounds like a faulty system. Have you checked the fuse box first? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause the cruise control to stop functioning and throw an error. Also, has the actuator been checked? A defective cable or plug connection to the component can be the culprit.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not really familiar with the actuator. Can you tell me where it is located?

The actuator location can vary, but since the error is present and you're getting an error message, it might be best to get it checked by a professional. You don't want to mess something up if you aren't familiar with the components. I think the faulty system is what you should focus on. I hope that helps!

Thank you. I will do that! The repair cost me 95€, and you were right!
