Trafic engine control malfunction

I've got a 2023 Renault Trafic diesel with a worrying issue. 225k km on the clock. The engine won't start and I'm getting an engine control malfunction warning. I'm suspecting a dodgy connection somewhere, but I'm not sure where to start looking.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Renault Trafic. Check your battery cable connections. Sounds simple, but it caused me a massive headache when my engine light came on.

Yeah, the terminals themselves. Give them a good clean and make sure they're tight. If that doesn't solve it, you're probably best off getting it to a workshop, could be an ECU issue.

Cheers! It was indeed the battery cable connections. Gave them a clean and a tighten, and it fired right up. Cost me 155€ at the workshop! Appreciate the help!
