Thanks. I checked the sensor and wiring, no visible damage or corrosion. Cleaned the plug contacts too, but still no luck. What exactly happened with yours? Did the oil pressure light come on too?

Yep, oil pressure light was flickering. I checked every wire and connection for hours. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They replaced the sensor and fixed a dodgy connection. Saved me a lot of trouble.

Thanks for sharing. I took it to a mechanic. It was the engine oil temperature sensor and a corroded connector, just like we thought. Cost 95€ for the sensor and labor. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar with my Trafic. The warning lights would come and go. Have you checked the sensor for damage or corrosion? Maybe clean the plug connection contacts? Could be a simple fix.
