Transit fuel flap issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2005 Ford Transit diesel. The fuel flap won't open! I get an error message, and it's completely locked shut. Also, some other functions seem to be acting up at the same time. Has anyone else experienced this? I've checked the fuses, but they all seem fine. Really frustrating!

The described symptoms, specifically the error message combined with the inability to open the fuel filler flap and the malfunction of other vehicle functions, are indicative of a potential fault within the fuel flap lock actuator circuit. Is the vehicle equipped with a mechanical linkage for manual override?

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not sure about a mechanical linkage. Where would I typically find that?

Given the vehicle's configuration and the described fault pattern, the absence of a mechanical linkage is highly probable. The defect lies within the electric actuator. Diagnosis by a qualified workshop is necessary to confirm the fault and facilitate appropriate repair.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help! I took it to a local mechanic, and you were spot on. It was the electric actuator for the fuel flap. Cost me 210€ to get it fixed, but at least it's sorted now!
