Transit Windshield Washer Heater Issue

Hey, I've got a 2023 Ford Transit (electric engine) that's giving me a headache. My windshield washer heater seems to be on the fritz. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, and the spray nozzles are frozen solid when it's cold out. I've checked the washer fluid level, and that's fine. Any ideas?

Oh man, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Transit. Is the washer motor making any noise at all? It could be a blown fuse, happened to me once. Check your fuse box diagram and see if there's a separate fuse for the washer heater.

Good call on the fuse! I'll check that out. But if it's not the fuse, any thoughts on what else it could be? I'm not super familiar with the electrical side of things.

Yeah, if it's not the fuse, honestly, you're probably looking at a defective cable or plug connection to the heating element itself. I spent hours trying to figure it out, and in the end I had to take it to the shop. Turned out to be a corroded connector. Best to let them diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. I'll check the fuse, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop is in order. They quoted me about 95€ for the repair, so hopefully that will be the end of it.
