Traveller immobilizer issue

Sounds like a key issue. When you turn the key, does the security light stay on, flash, or go out? It's possible the key isn't being recognized. Have you tried your spare key, if you have one? That would help narrow it down.

The security light stays on solid. I tried the spare key and it's doing the same thing. What does that indicate?

If the security light is solid with both keys, it pretty much confirms the immobilizer isn't getting the right signal from either key. It's likely a programming issue, but could also be a fault in the immobilizer system itself. I'd suggest a workshop.

Okay, thanks for the advice. Took it to a workshop and they reprogrammed the key. Seems like that fixed it, cost 45€. Appreciate the help.
