Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'dodgy connection,' do you mean the wiring harness or the actual connector pins were corroded or damaged? Was there a specific wire that caused the issue? Did you measure it with a multimeter?

I didn't get as far as multimeter testing, to be honest. It looked more like the connector wasn't seated properly. Wiggling it made the light flicker. I'd suggest checking if it's firmly attached first. If that doesn't help, I would advise you to go to a workshop.

Thanks for the help! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was indeed a defective cable/plug connection to the preheating control unit. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the pointer!

Hey, I had something similar happen with my Traveller. The preheating lamp staying on is a real pain. For me, it turned out to be a dodgy connection to the preheating unit itself. Have you checked the plug that goes directly into the unit? I remember fiddling with it, and it seemed loose. Might be worth a look before you go digging too deep.
