Traveller Rail Pressure Sensor Issue

Experiencing stalling and reduced power with my 2020 Peugeot Traveller diesel. Check engine light is on, and diagnostics suggest a faulty rail pressure sensor signal. Mileage is 159751 km. Anyone seen this before? Could the sensor be the issue?

Sounds familiar. The rail pressure sensor is a common issue on these diesel engines. A bad signal can definitely cause those issues. What diagnostics did you run?

My OBD2 scanner indicated a fault related to the rail pressure sensor signal. I visually inspected the sensor and wiring, but found nothing obvious. Did you see the same fault code, and what fixed it for you?

Yup, same fault code. Cleaning the sensor didn't help. Given your mileage and the symptoms, I'd bet on a defective sensor. Get it checked at a workshop. They can confirm and replace the sensor. It's not too complex, and they’ll have the right tools.

The workshop confirmed it was the rail pressure sensor. Replacement cost 240€, and the car runs perfectly now. Thanks for the help!
