Traveller Speed Signal Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Peugeot Traveller with an electric engine is experiencing a speed signal fault, causing the ABS lamp to light up and traction problems, indicating a potential ABS system failure. Possible causes include faulty sensor connections or a defective control unit. The recommended solution is to check the ABS sensor connections near the wheel hub and consider professional diagnosis and repair, as a defective control unit was identified as the issue in a similar case.

Sensor connections, ok. Which sensor are we talking about exactly? Also, would that affect the odometer reading somehow?

The ABS sensor, usually located near the wheel hub. In my case the control unit was defective. Speed signal issues can also affect the transmission and odometer, yes. I'd take it to a workshop to get it diagnosed properly.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out the affected control unit was defective, just like you said. Cost me around 1000€ to repair. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Volvo a while back. ABS and traction control going nuts. Have you checked the sensor connections? Could also be ECM related.
