Tucson AdBlue System Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Hyundai Tucson diesel displayed an empty AdBlue tank warning and wouldn't start despite a recent fill. Diagnostics indicated an issue with AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit. A similar case suggested checking for blockages or leaks in the lines, but the problem was identified as a faulty pump restricting flow. The solution involved replacing the defective AdBlue pump at a workshop.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the quick reply. Did your diagnosis specifically isolate the problem to the AdBlue output from the tank, or was it a more general issue in the DEF fluid system?

The issue was a faulty pump restricting AdBlue flow. Considering your symptoms and the potential repair cost (around 250€), I'd suggest a workshop visit for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed a defective AdBlue pump, just like we discussed. Replacement is happening now.

I also own a Tucson diesel. I had similar symptoms – dashboard alert, engine won't start, all related to the AdBlue system. Check the lines to the injection system for blockages or leaks.
