My 2021 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid (45146 km) has an automatic temperature control issue. There's an error stored, and the A/C won't engage. The error suggests a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone seen this, and are there checks I can do before going to a professional?

Thanks. Where is the interior temperature sensor located, and how do I check its connection? I don't have schematics.

It's usually near the steering column. Diagnostics are difficult without the proper tools. Given the error and lack of A/C, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to prevent further issues; in my case that was indeed the solution.

Appreciate the advice. The workshop found a defective cable connection on the interior temperature sensor. The repair cost 95€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
