Tundra boost pressure control fault

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2015 Toyota Tundra, gasoline engine. The check engine light is on, and I'm experiencing reduced engine power, poor engine response, and higher fuel consumption. I scanned it and it's showing a boost pressure control fault. I'm at 144741 km. Could this be compressor surge, maybe something with the intake manifold? Could a faulty boost solenoid or vacuum leak be the culprit? I'm not sure where to even start checking. Anyone had similar problems?

I had a similar problem with my old Audi A4. Same symptoms, though the fault code was slightly different. If I remember correctly, the issue was the vacuum switching valve. Have you checked for any obvious cracks or damage to the vacuum lines? A small leak can cause big problems with boost control.

Thanks for the tip! So, on your Audi, was it difficult to locate the faulty valve? Was it easy enough to replace, or did you need any special tools?

Locating it wasn't too bad, but it depends on your mechanical skill. I'd recommend having a workshop take a look. Best to get it diagnosed properly. These systems can be quite sensitive.

Took it to the shop. You were spot on; the vacuum switching valve was indeed the problem. They replaced it, cleared the codes, and the Tundra is running like new again. Total cost was 140€ Thanks!
