Tundra fault code issue

I'm pulling my hair out here. I've got a 2009 Toyota Tundra with a gasoline engine and 153184 km on the clock. Recently, I keep getting a fault code popping up. The infotainment system throws an error message, and then the speedometer shows the same thing. I've scanned the OBD-II port and it points to some weird coding issue. My gut feeling is that the vehicle coding is incorrect. I've cleared the codes a couple of times, but they always come back. What's going on?

Hmm, that's a weird one. I had something similar happen with my Tundra, though it wasn't exactly the same. Did the engine light come on with it?

Yeah, the engine light is on. Did you ever figure out what was causing it on your Tundra?

OK, so yeah, sounds pretty familiar. I chased it for a while, but honestly, I ended up just taking it to a workshop. They sorted the coding issue and reset everything. Cost me around 360€ if I remember correctly.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I was hoping it wasn't something serious. Sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. Will get it sorted for 360€. Cheers!
