Tundra GPS Antenna Issue

I did visually inspect the antenna, and it appears to be intact, with no visible damage. However, I haven't explicitly checked for signal interference. Furthermore, I am uncertain how to reset the GPS module. Could you perhaps provide more detailed instructions on how to perform this reset?

If the antenna looks okay, the reset might be tricky depending on your head unit. Honestly, with those symptoms and the age of the truck, it's probably a defective antenna. I ended up just taking my Merc to a shop and they confirmed it was the antenna, saved me a lot of headache. A new GPS antenna shouldn't break the bank. I would recommend going to the workshop and having the car checked.

Based on your recommendation, I've taken my Tundra to a reputable workshop, and indeed, the diagnosis confirmed a defective GPS antenna. The repair cost is estimated at around 200€, which seems reasonable. Thank you again for your invaluable assistance!

That's a familiar story. I had a similar GPS problem with my old Mercedes C-Class a few years back. Same symptoms: navigation going haywire, error codes popping up. Did you check for any obvious signal interference or physical damage to the antenna itself? Also, have you tried resetting the GPS module?
