Tundra Intake Air Temperature Sensor Issue

I'm having trouble with my 2014 Toyota Tundra, gasoline engine. The check engine light comes on sometimes, and the engine loses power and runs rough. The diagnostic says it's the intake air temperature sensor. It's only got 33406 km on it. I think the sensor is bad, but I wanted to get some other opinions before I do anything.

Sounds like it could be the intake air temperature sensor. Have you checked the wiring and connections to the sensor for any damage?

Thanks, I checked the wiring and connections, and they look fine. The error code is P0113, which means the signal from the intake air temperature sensor is too high. Could it still be the wiring, or is the sensor probably bad?

With a P0113 error code and the wiring looking good, the intake air temperature sensor is likely the problem. You can't rule out the wiring completely without more testing, but replacing the sensor is the next logical step. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis.

Thanks for the advice. I had the sensor replaced at a local shop, and it cost 155€. The problem is fixed, and the engine runs great now.
