Twingo AC Not Cooling

My 2013 Renault Twingo (gasoline engine) AC isn't cooling. It doesn't seem to switch on at all. The car has 79620 km on the clock. I suspect a defect in the individual valves. Any ideas? I checked the AC relay and don't hear anything unusual. The blower motor seems fine. I'm concerned about the AC efficiency.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Twingo a while back. The AC just wouldn't kick in, and it was driving me nuts. Was hotter than hell in the car! Did you check for issues with the AC compressor?

I haven't specifically checked the AC compressor. How should I inspect it for potential issues? I'm trying to do some AC diagnostics.

The AC compressor is a pain to get to. Unless you're a whiz with car electrics, I'd suggest getting it to a workshop. It could be a faulty compressor, or as you said, one of the valves. Cost me around 1000€ to get sorted, including parts and labor. Best to get a pro to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for confirming this and sharing your experience. A visit to a workshop seems best. Thanks again.
