Twingo Brake Pulsing

Spongy isn't quite the right word. The pedal is firm, but there's this rhythmic pulsing that I can feel. As for the undervoltage idea, I was thinking it might affect the ABS system's sensors or something, leading to erratic behavior. Is that even remotely plausible?

ABS stuff? Hmm, I'm no expert, but that sounds complicated. Maybe the ABS is kicking in when it shouldn't? If it's not the rotors and not air, and you're thinking electrical problems, it's probably best to get it checked out by a shop. Could be dangerous!

I appreciate the advice. It turned out to be a combination of worn disc brakes and an undervoltage issue affecting the ABS, just as I suspected. The total repair cost was 240€ Thanks again for your insights.

Whoa, pulsing? That's not good! I had something similar once, but it turned out my brake rotors were warped. But you said the disc brakes look okay? Maybe air in the lines? Does it feel spongy at all? Never heard of undervoltage doing that. How would that even work?
