Twingo Electric Battery Sensor

My 2020 Renault Twingo electric (50885 km) has a weak battery when starting, and the lights flicker. Could it be the voltage sensor? I read online that might be it. Has anyone else had this issue? What should I check first?

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my old Opel Corsa, and it turned out to be the battery sensor too. Did you check the battery voltage with a multimeter? That might give you a clue before you go too deep.

Thanks! I haven't checked the voltage yet, but that's a good idea. Where exactly is the sensor located? And is it easy to test, or am I better off just replacing it?

On my Corsa, the sensor was right next to the battery. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with car electrics, I'd suggest getting a workshop to take a look. Could save you a headache in the long run! I ended up paying around 300€ for the whole repair, sensor and labor.

Took it to the shop, and you were spot on! Bad battery sensor. Cost me 315€ including labor. Thanks for the advice!
