Twingo keyless access failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless access on a 2008 diesel Twingo stopped working, with an error indicating a fault in the door handle electronics. This issue could be due to a defective cable or plug connection, which is a common problem. Suggestions include checking the door switch, wiring harness, or the entire door mechanism assembly. Given the complexity, a workshop visit is recommended for accurate diagnosis and repair.

When you say 'door mechanism,' do you mean the entire assembly within the door, or a specific component like a sensor? I'm trying to figure out if I can fix this myself.

Yes, I meant the entire assembly. Honestly, given the error code and the system's complexity, it might be worth a workshop visit. They'll pinpoint the fault more accurately. In my case, the complete repair cost around 95€.

I had a similar issue with my Twingo. Keyless entry stopped, and it was something with the door mechanism. Have you checked the door switch itself, or perhaps the wiring harness that runs into the door? These can suffer from wear and tear.
