Twingo low tire pressure and ABS issue

My 2001 Renault Twingo with a gasoline engine exhibits a recurring low tire pressure warning. The ABS lamp is illuminating, the steering wheel vibrates, and steering effort feels increased, like a power steering failure at 236084 km. I suspect a valve issue. Any ideas?

I had similar issues with my old Opel Corsa – constant low pressure, ABS light flickering. It turned out to be a slow leak from a faulty valve stem in one of the tires. Have you checked the valves closely?

I do suspect the valve integrity. Was the behavior consistent for you, or did it fluctuate? Did your Corsa have any steering anomalies?

It was consistent, but subtle initially, and worsened over time. I didn't have any steering issues, but the tire pressure monitoring system was going crazy. You should get the valves checked out by a workshop; it could save you a headache.

I inspected it further and confirmed a defective valve. Replacement was necessary, costing 280€. Thanks for sharing your experience.
