Twingo Sunroof Initialization Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Twingo owner encountered a "sunroof not initialized" error, causing the sunblind to be stuck and the convertible top to malfunction, likely due to recent coding changes. A similar issue was resolved by checking the sunroof mechanism for obstructions, such as broken plastic pieces. Ultimately, the problem was fixed by a workshop that cleared the error and reset the sunroof.

Thanks for the info! What exactly did you check on the mechanism? I'm not really sure where to start looking.

Okay, so mine was jammed because a tiny piece of plastic broke off and got lodged in the track. Honestly, I couldn't fix it myself. I just took it to a workshop and they sorted it out pretty quick. Maybe the best option for you too.

Thanks, I'll check for obstructions, but it sounds like a trip to the shop is in order. Shop cleared the error and reset the sunroof. Cost me 75€, all sorted now!

Whoa, weird. I had something similar happen on my Twingo, although it wasn't the coding that caused it for me. My sunblind got completely stuck, like it was glued in place. Did you check the sunroof mechanism? Maybe something's blocking it?
