Twizy Electronic Parking Brake Failure

Fellow Twizy owners, I have a problem with my 2013 Renault Twizy (electric engine). At 85756 km, the electronic parking brake has stopped working. The handbrake is completely without function, and the error memory stores related errors. The warning light is also illuminated in the speedometer. My initial diagnostics point towards a defective electric motor in the brake calliper. Anyone experienced something similar?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen on my Twizy. Is the brake switch working properly? It could be something simpler than the motor.

Yeah, same symptoms. Warning light, no handbrake. I messed around with some brake diagnostics but ended up at the shop. They confirmed it was the motor in the parking brake calliper. Good luck!
