Twizy keyless access issues

I'm experiencing some bizarre issues with my 2022 Renault Twizy (electric engine). Keyless access is completely gone, and I'm getting a 'key battery low' warning. Unlocking and locking are now unreliable, and the car's error memory has stored the error. Considering the symptoms, I am pretty sure the key fob battery is the culprit. Has anyone else encountered this?

I had a similar problem with my 2018 Opel Corsa. The error messages were quite similar, though the car models are obviously different. Did you try to read out the error code with an OBD reader? Sometimes the error message can be misleading...

Thanks for your input. I have read the error memory but all I get is the 'key battery low' warning. Did replacing the battery in your Opel's key fob resolve all the issues or were there any other things you had to consider?

Replacing the battery did the trick for my Corsa. If the error message is accurate in your case, and you've already checked the error memory, I would definitely say the battery replacement should solve it. If not, consider visiting a local workshop.

Thanks a lot for your help! Replacing the battery (costing 37€) solved the problem. I really appreciate your advice!
