Twizy Stuck in Transport Mode

Hey, I've got a 2013 Renault Twizy (electric engine) that's throwing a weird one. Mileage is just shy of 200k km. It seems to be stuck in transport mode. Electricals are acting funky, and the navigation is dead. It's basically like it thinks it just rolled off the factory floor, even though it's been on the road for ages. Any ideas?

Transport mode, huh? That's usually something you see when a car is brand new to protect the battery during shipping. I'm just thinking out loud here, but have you tried the obvious stuff like checking the battery connections and making sure the key fob battery isn't dead? It could be something simple like the immobilizer not recognizing the key.

Yeah, I checked the battery and the key fob. Everything seems okay there. When you say the immobilizer might not be recognizing the key, what exactly do you mean? Is there a way to reset that myself, or am I looking at a dealer visit?

Well, it's just a guess, but if the car thinks it's in transport mode, it might not be fully 'awake'. The immobilizer is the system that prevents the engine from starting unless it recognizes the correct key. It's a security feature, so it's not usually something you can mess with easily. My advice? Since you've checked the basics and it's still acting up, a trip to the shop might be the best bet. They can probably run a diagnostic and see what's really going on.

Alright, thanks for the input. Was hoping to avoid the shop, but it sounds like that's the only way to get it sorted. Will report back if they find anything interesting. Turns out it was a simple software fix to get it out of transport mode. All sorted for 0€. Thanks again!
