Twizy Turn Signal Electrical Fault

Experiencing an electrical fault with my 2020 Renault Twizy (electric). At 46048 km, the left turn signal lamp is acting up. The speedometer shows a lighting system fault, and an error is stored. The bulb looks fine. Could this be a serious electrical issue, or should I investigate something else?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Renault Twizy is experiencing an electrical fault with the left turn signal, indicated by a lighting system fault on the speedometer. The bulb appears fine, suggesting the issue might not be with the bulb itself. A possible cause could be a loose or corroded connection in the cable or plug to the lamp. The solution involves checking these connections, and if not confident, consulting a workshop, which confirmed a defective plug connection as the issue.

Had similar weirdness with my Twizy. Check the cable and plug connections to the lamp. Might be a loose or corroded connection.

Thanks! Could you elaborate on which specific cable and plug connections I should inspect? What signs of corrosion or looseness should I look for?

Honestly, just check all of them to the indicator. If you're not confident, best take it to a workshop. Could be more than just a loose wire.

Thanks. I've scheduled an appointment with the workshop. It was a defective plug connection for the indicator light, causing the errors. They quoted 95€ for the repair. Thanks again!
