Window regulator circuit, eh? So, how can I know for sure it's the switch and not, like, the motor itself?

Right, to clarify the 'window regulator circuit', I mean the whole electrical pathway. A faulty motor or wiring is possible, but less likely. Given your symptoms and the error message, a faulty switch is a strong candidate. Without proper diagnostic tools, it's tough to pinpoint. Probably best to let a workshop take a look. They can check continuity and voltage at the switch and motor.

Cheers! Took it to a local garage, new switch sorted it! Cost me about 200€ all in.

Okay, so the power windows aren't working at all, and you're getting an error code specifically related to the window regulator circuit? Given that it's affecting both windows simultaneously (assuming it is), a defective power window switch is a plausible cause. The switch controls the voltage signal to the window motor via the window regulator and the window track, so start there.
