Ulysee NOx sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Fiat Ulysee exhibited a check engine light and exhaust leak, with a diagnostic error indicating a NOx sensor fault. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug connection. After checking the connections without finding obvious damage, it was suggested that the sensor itself might be failing. The issue was resolved by replacing the NOx sensor, which turned off the check engine light.

I checked the connections and didn't find any obvious damage. Could it be an intermittent fault, or is the sensor itself failing? Did you solve the issue yourself?

The issue persisted even after checking the connections, so I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They will be able to diagnose the problem properly and replace the emission sensor if necessary.

I took it to a local mechanic, and they confirmed it was indeed the NOx sensor. They replaced it, and the check engine light is now off. Total repair cost was 95€. Appreciate your help!

I had a similar problem with my Fiat Ulysee. Sounds like a nitrogen oxide sensor failure. Have you checked the sensor's connections and wiring harness for any damage or corrosion?
