Ulysee stalling at idle
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Fiat Ulysee diesel is experiencing stalling at idle, a check engine light, and reduced power. The issue is suspected to be related to the fuel volume regulator or possibly the high pressure pump. A similar problem was resolved by addressing a faulty high pressure pump that affected the regulator. The solution involved replacing the defective fuel volume regulator, which was likely caused by the high pressure pump.

Yeah, rough idling and definitely worse fuel economy. Which sensors should I be looking at specifically?

In my case, it was a faulty high pressure pump that screwed up the regulator. I'd get it checked by a workshop. Could be the same for you.

Thanks, will do. Turns out it was a defective fuel volume regulator, likely caused by the high pressure pump, like you said. Cost me 1510€ to fix.

Sounds familiar. Had similar symptoms on my old Saab after the fuel regulator went bad. Rough idling and terrible fuel economy, right? Did you check the car sensors?
