Ulysee Steering Angle Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Fiat Ulysee exhibited steering issues, including increased effort and vibrations, potentially due to a defective steering angle sensor and faulty coding. An OBD scan confirmed the sensor problem. The recommended solution was to have the sensor replaced and properly coded at a workshop, which resolved the issue.

Yeah, there's a code related to the steering angle sensor. Did yours need replacing? What was the damage?

Yep, pretty much the same symptoms. The sensor itself was faulty. Best get it to a proper workshop; they'll sort it out. It wasn't a massive job, but definitely needs doing properly.

I appreciate the help. Took it to the workshop, sensor replaced and coded, came to 195€. Good as new. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Ulysee a while back. Increased steering effort and some nasty vibrations. Was it throwing up any specific fault codes?
