Carly fault memory claims mirror right without function and/or battery deeply discharged. Battery is 1 year old and the wing mirror works perfectly. Should have happened approx. 2000km ago. The car is driven 100km every day without any problems. What is Carly trying to tell me? Or what is going wrong??? Kind regards
Hello Zeins, Sometimes, fault memory can retain errors that have been resolved or were previously detected. You should try clearing the fault memory to see if the error reappears. If the faults are cleared and don’t come back, they were likely just residual errors in the system. Please keep us updated on your progress. Best regards, CarlyAdminNik

Carly plug removed. After 40 hours the battery was flat due to the Carly plug. Carly's response was below all dignity.

You ask for feedback every time, but yours in response to a simple question: How much power does the Carly plug draw? was not helpful and completely missed the point.Norbert Sobiech AI is not a solution for good communication. So don't bother me with your useless questions.

For my part, the problem appears on my 2016 330e in a general context of major failures of the hybrid propulsion system. The expensive replacement of one of the five modules of the high-voltage battery (for the modest sum of 3000 euros) reduced these errors for a period of +- 10 months, but it's back with a vengeance. My official dealer failed to diagnose the problem despite keeping the vehicle for 15 days. I had to lodge a complaint with BMW HQ. A new diagnosis was made and seems to conclude that the other four modules of the high-voltage battery and various components of the electrical management system need to be replaced. The dealership is negotiating with BMW HQ to try to obtain a commercial gesture, as apparently the bill would be astronomical. In short: hybrid/electric vehicles are not designed to be "maintained" for very long. I'm very disappointed.

The footwell module in your BMW controls various electrical functions in your car, such as the headlights, brake lights, and door locks. If you're getting error codes related to this module, it could indicate a problem with one of these systems. It could be a simple issue like a blown fuse or a more complex one like a faulty module. I would recommend starting with checking the fuses and if they are fine, you might need to have the footwell module inspected by a professional. Please keep us updated on your progress.
