Hey, thanks for the tip about the fan motor. Can you remember how much it cost you to replace it? And have you had any other problems with the fan since then or has everything been fine since then?

Hey, I still have the invoice lying around somewhere... Ah yes, I spent around €255 on replacing the fan motor back then. Before that, the fan was constantly acting up, but since the repair, everything is working perfectly again. It's great to be on the road again without frozen windows!

Great, thank you! I can definitely live with the €255. It's a great comfort to know that everything has been fine since your visit to the garage. I'll probably have to make an appointment soon too, so I won't be standing on the side of the road cursing with the frozen windshield patch. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Skoda Octavia. I discovered that the fan motor was defective and had to be replaced. It just wasn't working properly anymore and therefore not enough air was coming into the interior, regardless of whether it was cold or warm. It was a serious problem because it made it harder and harder for me to clear the windows, which is quite dangerous when driving. Have a look at your fan motor, it could be the same thing.
