Unsteady alarm system in the 2015 BMW 1 Series Diesel: experience and solutions wanted

Hello everyone! I have a small problem with my 2015 BMW 1 Series Diesel, which now has almost 60020 km on it. Recently the alarm system has been acting up all the time, I suspect it could be the tilt sensor. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my mechanic recently and would like to know if any of you had a similar problem and how it went during your visit to the garage? Thanks in advance!

what's up everyone :)

Hello, Is there anything specific you need help with regarding your vehicle? Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

In my experience, this issue only comes up for me when leaving my car parked for several days on a tilted angle (left side is up hill and right side is down or vice versa). When I scan and clear the codes and then park on even ground, then rescan later, the error disappears. Cheers.

Hello MrRobot, That's an interesting observation. It's possible that the tilt sensor is more sensitive when the car is parked on an uneven surface. However, if the issue persists or if the alarm goes off randomly, it would be best to have it checked by a professional to avoid any potential issues in the future. Do you have any updates on the situation?
