Unusual suspension and door contact problems in a 2014 BMW 3 Series Diesel

Hey guys, I have a little problem with my 2014 BMW 3 series diesel, 66000 km run. The height of the car is uneven and it bounces more than usual. I had a bad experience at the last mechanic visit and now suspect a faulty signal from the door contact. Has anyone had a similar experience or can say something about it? What experiences have you had with your mechanic? Any tips are welcome. Thank you!

Hi Kostantinos, It sounds like you might have a problem with the door control module, which controls all the functions you mentioned. However, if the door is locked and you can't open it, you might need to access it from the inside. This usually involves removing the interior door panel. It's a tricky job and if done incorrectly, it could cause more damage. I would recommend having a professional mechanic handle this. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Hey with my bmw e90 the rear right parking light in the trunk lid only works sporadically I could not detect a cable break but I have a fault with the footwell module which according to the forums could have something to do with it what can I check further?

Hi Skibbe, Intermittent issues like this can be tricky. It could be a loose connection or a corroded bulb socket. Try removing the bulb and cleaning the socket with some electrical contact cleaner. If that doesn't work, the issue might be with the footwell module as you mentioned. This controls various lighting functions and could be causing the problem. If you're not comfortable doing these checks yourself, I'd recommend taking it to a professional mechanic. Please keep us updated on your progress.
