V Klasse engine power loss after tuning

My 2021 Mercedes V Klasse with a gasoline engine has 116158 km. The vehicle diagnostics system flagged an error. I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power, and the dashboard light is on. A scan tool revealed a stored diagnostic code. I suspect this might be related to a faulty chip tuning performed by a third-party provider. Has anyone experienced something similar?
