Valve blockage...hmm. How exactly would I check that? The engine isn't overheating, just the weak heat. And yes, the engine coolant level seems fine. Where was the problem in your Opel's cooling system?

Well, in my case, the valve itself was faulty. I couldn't really test it without proper tools, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed the valve blockage and replaced the part. Given your symptoms and the error code, it's probably best to get it checked professionally. It's a pain, but better than risking engine overheating down the road. Plus, a faulty valve can cause all sorts of cooling system issues.

Thanks for the insight. I'll take it to the shop then. They quoted me about 95€ for the repair, which seems reasonable if it's just the valve. Hopefully, that solves the problem.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel a few years back. Weak heat, engine coolant temperature acting strangely. The dealer kept saying it was the thermostat, but I wasn't convinced. Did you check for any valve blockage yourself? Is the engine overheating or just the weak heat? Also, is the engine coolant level okay? Because with that kind of mileage, you might also want to check your engine coolant for leaks.
