V40 cooling system issues

Hi, I have a 2017 Volvo V40 with a gasoline engine. I'm experiencing some issues that seem related to the cooling system. The instrument cluster shows incorrect temperatures, the check engine light is on, and the engine takes a long time to warm up. I suspect a restricted cooling grille but haven't found any obvious blockages. Any ideas?

Interesting. I had similar symptoms with my V40. Have you checked the fuse for the cooling grille shutters? That was the culprit for me.

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought about the fuse. Where exactly is that fuse located?

Honestly, I can't recall the exact location offhand, but it's in one of the fuse boxes. I'd recommend consulting your owner's manual or just taking it to a workshop to avoid any further issues. That's what I did.

Thanks. I checked the fuses and, indeed, one was defective. Replaced it, and everything seems fine now. Cost me 52€.
