V40 Error Code Vehicle Coding Issue

Hi, I've got a 2003 Volvo V40 diesel with about 74k km on the clock and I'm facing a weird issue. An error code has popped up. The display shows an error message in the infotainment system and also in the speedometer. I suspect it might be related to incorrect vehicle coding. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hey, I had something like that happen in my V40, too. Engine light came on, right? Was it intermittent or constant?

Yeah, the engine light is on. It's pretty constant, not intermittent. What was the fix for yours?

Mine was a similar story. The error was due to some mismatch in the control module coding. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. Best to get it checked properly, I reckon.
