V40 Mirror Heating Failure

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2019 Volvo V40 diesel. The mirror heating is not functioning. Diagnostics show an error stored. Given the mileage (100681 km), I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else encountered this?

Ah, both mirrors... Given the error code and the fact that both are out, it does point to a connector or wiring fault. It's probably not the heater elements themselves. I'd suggest going to the workshop; they will probably find the broken cable and replace it quickly.

Thanks. I followed your suggestion and took it to the shop. As suspected, it was a defective plug connection. Repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the help!
