V60 AdBlue Pump Failure

Having trouble with my 2015 Volvo V60 diesel. The 'AdBlue tank empty' message is on, and the engine won't start. The AdBlue tank is empty. Could the AdBlue output from the tank to the dosing unit be defective? Anyone else experienced this or have tips before I spend a bunch of money?

I had a similar issue on my V60, though I didn't run it completely dry. Same symptoms - error message and refusal to start. Did you notice any leaks around the tank or the dosing unit?

No leaks that I could see, everything seems dry. Was the defective AdBlue output the cause in your case too? What was the fix?

Yep, turned out to be a faulty pump. I'd suggest you have it checked at a workshop. The repair was around 250€.

Thanks! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – the AdBlue pump was indeed defective. Got it replaced, and all is well now. Cost me around 250€, just like you said. Appreciate the help!
