No, I haven't read the codes. What do you think it could be if it's not the module?

Without the specific diagnostic codes, it’s difficult to say definitively, but a defective cable or plug connection is a strong possibility. If the codes point to a telematics control module failure, then replacement might be necessary. However, start with inspecting the wiring and connections. Given the symptoms, I'd strongly recommend having a qualified technician examine the system. It may be more complex than it appears and prevent call failure when it's really needed.

Thanks. Took it to the workshop, and you were right, it was a defective plug connection. Cost me 95€ to fix.

Greetings. It sounds like a telematics malfunction. Have you had the diagnostic codes read? That would pinpoint the error. The symptoms you describe are quite common when the control module isn't communicating correctly. An error message in the speedometer strongly indicates a communication issue within the automotive electronics system. Knowing the specific diagnostic codes would greatly assist in advising you further.
