Thank you for your reply! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I have not yet checked the voltage of the battery, but I will do so promptly. Regarding my driving habits, it's a mix of short commutes during the week and longer highway drives on the weekends. Do you suspect that the short trips could be a contributing factor to the battery drain?

Absolutely, short trips can definitely contribute to battery drain, especially in modern cars with lots of electronics. The battery doesn't get a chance to fully recharge during those short bursts. However, given the error messages and the severity of the symptoms, I'd lean towards the battery sensor being faulty as you suspected. I ended up taking mine to a trusted workshop, and they quickly diagnosed the issue. Saved me a lot of headache. I'd recommend you do the same before it gets worse.

I see, that makes perfect sense. Thank you so much for confirming my suspicions and sharing your experience. It seems like a trip to the workshop is indeed the most prudent course of action. I appreciate your advice! I visited my local workshop and they confirmed that the battery sensor was defective and replaced it. The total repair cost was 315€. Everything is running smoothly again.

Hey there! I had a similar experience with my V60, although it wasn't a hybrid. I was getting some weird electrical issues, like the infotainment system randomly shutting off and the start/stop function acting up. Eventually, the battery just wouldn't hold a charge. It sounds a lot like what you're describing. Have you checked the voltage of the battery? What kind of driving do you usually do – lots of short trips?
