V60 Mirror Heating Failure

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say "connections to the mirror itself", do you mean taking the mirror glass out? I'm a bit worried about breaking something if I start prying. Is it easy to get to, or am I better off just taking it to a shop?

Yep, that's what I mean. Honestly, unless you're super comfortable with that kind of thing, I'd say just bite the bullet and go to a workshop. I tried fiddling with mine and almost made it worse. In the end, my mechanic found a dodgy plug, cleaned it up and all was well. Better safe than sorry, right?

Okay, that's the confirmation I needed! I'll book it in for a check-up then. I saw the error code pointed towards a cable or plug connection issue so that sounds about right. The workshop quoted me 95€, so hopefully that's all it is. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar! I've got a V60 too (though not a hybrid), and I had a similar problem last winter. Mirror heating just quit. An OBD reader is an on-board diagnostics reader, for those who don't know. Did you check the connections to the mirror itself? They can get corroded or loose.
