V60 oil pressure warning and engine noise

Hello! I also have a V60, though not a hybrid. Your symptoms sound very similar to a problem I encountered last year. Have you checked for any oil leakage or thought about the oil pressure sensor? What engine oil are you using?

Thanks for your reply! I haven't checked for oil leakage yet, but I will do that. As for the oil pressure sensor, I didn't consider it. I did an oil change like 30000 km ago, using the manufacturer's recommended oil.

In my case, the issue was eventually diagnosed as a defect in the oil pump, leading to low oil pressure. I recommend seeking professional assistance from a workshop rather than driving until you checked for oil leakage. Continuing to drive with low oil pressure can seriously damage your engine. In the end, my repair cost was around 755€.

Thank you for the advice! I checked for leakage but found nothing. I'll take it to a workshop right away for a checkup, mentioning the oil pump. I really hope it isn't that, but better safe than sorry!
