V60 Parking Aid Fault

Good shout. I'll check the harnesses. Is it likely to be the sensor wiring rather than the sensors themselves? I'd assumed a faulty sensor would flag up a specific sensor error, or is it more subtle than that?

In my case, it was the wiring. A broken wire can cause a complete system failure. The control module detects the lack of signal from all the sensors, and shuts down the whole system. Worth a shot checking the connectors before condemning the sensors. I was quoted 95€ for diagnosis, which seemed reasonable if I couldn't fix it myself.

Thanks for the advice. It was indeed a corroded connector on one of the rear sensors. Cleaned it up, applied some dielectric grease, and it's working perfectly now. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my V60. Parking assistant without function, and a corresponding error code. Have you checked the wiring harnesses and connectors to the sensors themselves? Especially around the rear bumper – road spray can get in there and corrode the pins. That's where I'd start before digging deeper.
