V60 tire pressure warning ABS vibration

Alright Volvo gurus, I'm pulling my hair out! I've got a 2020 V60 hybrid, and lately the tire pressure warning light keeps popping on. It's weird, because when it happens, the ABS light comes on too! And get this - the steering wheel starts vibrating like crazy, plus it feels like the power steering is barely working. Is my car haunted or what?

Sounds familiar. I've got a V60 too, and had similar issues. First things first, did you check your actual tire pressures with a tire gauge, not just rely on the car's sensor? Are all the tires equally low, or is it just one? And have you looked for any obvious signs of damage to the tires themselves? Punctures, bulges, that sort of thing?

Yep, I checked the tire pressures with my own gauge. They were all low, but the front passenger side was the worst. I didn't see any nails or anything obvious, though. So, you think it's a slow leak, or something more sinister with the tire sensor?

Given that all tires are low, and especially the one, it sounds like you might have a valve issue on that one tire causing a slow leak. Which would explain the pressure loss and the TPMS warning. The other symptoms... well, those are probably all tied together due to the pressure loss affecting the ABS and power steering systems. To be sure, I'd take it to a workshop. They can quickly diagnose a valve leak or a faulty sensor.

Thanks a bunch! You were spot on. Took it to the shop, and it turned out the valve on that tire was defective. They replaced it, plus re-inflated all the tires and cleared the warning lights. Cost me 280€, but at least the shaking is gone! Appreciate the help!
