V70 brake pedal vibration

I've got this 2006 Volvo V70, diesel engine, with barely 44972 km on the clock. Recently, the brake pedal's been giving me some seriously strange feedback, almost like a weird vibration. I've checked the pads visually, and they seem okay, but honestly, I'm no mechanic. Could it be the brake system or something else entirely?

Strange feedback from the brake pedal... I had a similar issue with my old 2012 Peugeot 308. It turned out to be undervoltage messing with the ABS system. Have you had any electrical issues lately, or a weak battery? Maybe that could be connected to your brakes?

Undervoltage, you say? That's interesting! I haven't noticed any other electrical weirdness, but maybe it's subtle. How did you figure out it was undervoltage in your Peugeot? Was it just the brake pedal, or were there other symptoms?

Well, besides the brake pedal feeling odd, my Peugeot's dashboard lights were flickering a bit sometimes. I only found out after a diagnostic check at the workshop. They pointed to undervoltage affecting the ABS, which explained the pedal feedback. Considering your Volvo's symptoms, maybe getting it checked professionally would be the safest bet.

Thanks for the tip about the undervoltage! I took the V70 to the workshop, and you were spot-on. Turns out, a faulty voltage regulator was causing the ABS to act up and the brakes were generally worn. Got it fixed for 240€ including worn brake shoes. Appreciate the help!
