V70 diesel injection nozzle issue

I'm having trouble with my 2008 Volvo V70 diesel. It has about 24000 km on it. I think it might be a bad fuel injector. It's hard to start, drinks more fuel than usual, has less power, idles rough, and sometimes stalls, especially when idling. Could a dirty injector cause these problems?

I had similar problems with my 2012 Citroen C5 diesel. Are you seeing any unusual smoke, like darker exhaust than usual? Any strange noises from the engine?

Thanks. Yes, the exhaust is a bit darker. I don't hear any unusual noises, though. Could this be related to your injector issue?

Dark exhaust and rough idling were my clues. It turned out to be a bad injector. You should probably get the V70 to a shop. The symptoms sound like it could be injectors.
