V90 Defective Mirror Heating

Hi, I have a 2021 Volvo V90 with a gasoline engine and 128902 km on the clock. The mirror heating is defective on both sides. Symptoms are simply no function and an error code stored in the error memory. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced this?

I had something similar with my V90. The mirror heating stopped working on one side. Did you check the fuse? Also, is the error code specific, or just a general 'mirror heating failure'?

In my situation, it was indeed a defective heating element in the mirror itself. Given the error code and your mileage, it's likely the same. I would recommend having it checked by a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I had it checked and you were right. The workshop confirmed the defective heating element. Repair cost will be 95€.
