V90 Reduced Engine Power

My 2017 Volvo V90 diesel is throwing a fit. Getting seriously reduced engine power and the computer's moaning about an error. Anyone else seen this? Mileage is around 104944 km. Suspecting the engine control unit is going bonkers!

I had similar issues with my V90. Check the main relay. It's a common culprit for ECU problems. Is the car struggling to start, or is it just down on power once it's running?

Thanks! Where exactly is that relay located, and is it something I can check myself without special tools?

While you might be able to locate it, diagnosing it properly requires some tools. I would suggest visiting a trusted workshop. In my case, it definitely solved the issue. Good luck!

You were spot on! Took it to the shop, they confirmed it was indeed the main relay causing the ECU to act up. Cost me 120€ for the repair. Runs like a charm now! Thanks a million!
