Vauxhall Adam climate control failure

Thanks for the quick reply! You mentioned the cable and plug connections. Where exactly are they located? I'm not the most mechanically minded, so a bit more detail would be amazing. Also, how would I test the temperature sensor?

Okay, so the cable and plug connections are usually directly behind the climate control panel itself. You'd need to carefully remove the panel (there are usually guides online for removing the Adam's dashboard trim without damaging anything). As for testing the temperature sensor, that's a bit trickier and often requires diagnostic equipment. Honestly, given the symptoms and error code, I'd lean towards a wiring issue. But without proper tools, you're probably best off taking it to a workshop. Could be a simple fix like a loose connection.

Thanks so much for the advice! I think you're right, it's probably best to get it checked by a professional. I booked it in at the garage; they diagnosed a defective connection and fixed it for 95€. All working now!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Corsa. The climate control went haywire. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the control panel itself? A defective connection is a common culprit. Also, have you considered a faulty temperature sensor? Sometimes that can throw everything off.
